Fareva Expands CDMO Network With Türkiye Site

The Lüleburgaz facility adds major production capacity, technical expertise, and international client reach.

Fareva is expanding its pharmaceutical CDMO network with the integration of a 338,000 m² production site in Lüleburgaz, Türkiye, a strategic hub near Istanbul that strengthens the Group’s industrial capacity and international footprint.

The site can produce up to 445 million boxes per year across three shifts and brings expertise in solid, liquid, semi-solid, and sterile forms, including penicillin and cephalosporins.

The acquisition also adds nearly 750 employees, a strong quality track record, international regulatory credentials, and an established client portfolio spanning Europe, Asia, South America, Africa, and Oceania.

“This acquisition marks a new step in Fareva’s international development. The Lüleburgaz site brings together major strengths: a strategic location, significant industrial capacity, diversified technical expertise, and a solid client portfolio. It strengthens our ability to support our pharmaceutical clients in demanding, high-growth international markets,” said Alexandre Bastit, CEO of the Pharma & API Business Unit, Fareva.

Fareva said the integration reinforces its global pharmaceutical manufacturing network and supports its ambition to build one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical CDMOs.
